In 25 words or less describe who you are, where you’re located and what you make.
I’m Martina of Swift Industries, a pannier and bicycle bag company located in downtown Seattle, WA. Along with Jason, Sonia and Ilana - we handcraft bags for the adventuring bicyclist.
What made you want to be a maker?
We are makers because the process of designing and building is a dialogue between inspiration, tools, and our environment that strengthens our sense of place.
Why should people support your business/products?
The Big Picture for Swift is to rethink the values that our cultures assign manufacturing and work. The Little Big Picture is to inspire folks to use their bicycles to travel. If that fuels you too, then welcome to the family!
Favorite product that you make?
We’re really excited by the Ozette Rando Bag and Trunk Saddle Bag combination. From our end, the two are very complex to create, and we offer a new aesthetic to very classical randonneuring luggage.
